Traditional Hilopites Pasta (500gr) | Vegetarian
Hilopites are a traditional Greek version of pasta very similar in size to fettuccine. Made with eggs, milk, wheat & salt they almost always cooked with the main ingredient of the dish itself.
At Hungry Donkey we cook Hilopites with our Stifádo, which makes the dish very wholesome, filling and traditional.
Boil them al dénte, with extra virgin olive oil (Greek of course), top them with generous qualities of Feta cheese, tomato sauce and seasoning, and bake in the oven for 20min. A simple and very tasty Greek pasta bake. The opportunities to use Hilopites are endless!
